FAQs

Please go through the following FAQs to clear some of your queries regarding SLF and it’s courses. If you have any other specific queries please feel free to contact us on madhavi@sattvalifeskills.org or send us your queries using any of the forms in the website. Thank You!!

I have a child with learning difficulties, can he join?

Our centre is dedicated for young adults with learning difficulties, ADHD, ASD etc.to realize their employment potential and learn life skills. Our team will help you select the best suitable vocational training for your child based on the students interest and abilities.

Are academic qualifications necessary to join?

Academic qualifications are not necessary. We would be testing the child’s interests and abilities and then customising the required vocational training or life skills training programs. We help our students to prepare for independence in both their personal and work lives.

What is your experience in working with special children?

SLF is a initiative of PRAVARA Educational Trust which was started in 2000. The trust is dedicated to the welfare and empowerment of individuals with Autism and Other Special Needs.

How does Life Skills Training help?

Training in life skills give individuals with autism a sense of safety, independence, self-esteem, health, self-advocacy and self-regulation. And it allows them to communicate effectively.
